Have you seen a connection with the food you eat and how you feel?

 Just this last month I got a food sensitivity test because I was feeling rather cruddy. My ND discovered I had a intolerance of gluten. The name for this is celiax dx.

Gluten is in many grains: wheat, spelt, bulgur, rye. Most people are fine with it. But for some it can cause the villi in the small intestine to become damaged. When that happens it interferes with absorption of nutrients. This can effect the body in a big way.

 It is most common in people of North European desent. Yet 1% of the population has this and most are not aware of the impact something as simple as gluten can have on how they feel physically and emotionally.

I've been recently “eating” only water for 5 days….  boy did i feel the difference during and now after this experiment…

not only that i eat much lighter then before with far more raw food, but something shifted inside me….  i m so much more connected to my own self on a deep level….  more conscious of every move and so much more in the moment…  i have less desires and i m more content with what's around me right now…     i can't say i have more energy as i always had an enormous amount, but my energy is more directed now to different things and projects i do….  and i like this difference…  so yes raw food does play a role at least for me…  as if u try to do the same thing u may and may not have the same or similar results…

Yes I notice how I feel related to what I eat.  It has been quite a long time since my first 10 day brown rice diet … to the 30 day raw / natural foods (non animal)  diet, and it's evolved to a generally tuned in macro biotic kind of diet of mostly foods I've grown (when possible).  But it makes an enormous difference … I think it's the main way to stay healthy… besides a little exercise and a lot of love.

HI all I have noticed this lactose intolerance also and a lot of people here in Australia are beginning to suffer from it as well so I would say it has something do with what they are putting in the foods these days its affecting adults as well as children and its too much of a coincidence and they say that its not the foods - but bet your bottom dollar it is….

absolutely see and feel the connection of our diets and how we feel. in my house gluten is evil!
